For the past few months, we have been visiting some amazing mixologists to learn about their signature drinks. We have interviews, blogs and even more great new content planned as we launch our search for The Best Drink Ever. This week we are excited to introduce you to one of our favorite bars in Southern California.  

The Spot: The Blind Rabbit in Anaheim, CA

The Blind Rabbit is a cozy, dark speakeasy with a hidden entrance and elevated handcrafted cocktails. Recently named one of the Best Cocktail Bars in LA, The Blind Rabbit features an impressive line up of classic and original cocktails. The cozy spot, fills up fast so reservations are a must.

The Drink: In the Garden of Good and Evil by Andrew Winters

Inspired by the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Mixologist Andrew Winters delivers a flavor-forward cocktail with a little southern charm.

Andrew's rum of choice for this drink is Zaya Gran Rerva, which is a blend of 12 aged rums sourced from Trinidad and Tobago. It's a sweet rum with hints of caramel, vanilla and oak. 

Next he uses Pineapple Juice, Lime, Demerara Simple Syrup, Celery Bitters, Vanilla, Mint, Thyme and Rosemary to create a bouquet of unique flavors that you can taste...and smell. It's shaken and served over ice in a classic rocks glass. Trust us when we say that you will not be disappointed with this cocktail.
